We recommend that you never send your original photographs by mail or
courier. Chances are it is unique and the only one in existence. We cannot be responsible for the condition of a
photograph that is mailed or shipped. So, please do not mail any photographs to us. No amount of insurance can ever
replace your treasured photographs.
If you have a good quality scanner and the ability to use it, then there will be less investment into the final product.
If scanning is not one of your skills or you don't have a good quality scanner, then we suggest a Kinko's or other
printing/copy business. We ask that you scan the photograph or have it scanned into a digital file as follows:
- Verify the scanner glass is clean and free of dust, lint, specks, etc. Otherwise, they will be in the scan
and create additional editing time.
- In the preview window, select just the photo (no white showing around the photo).
- Choose the color photo setting (even for black and white photos).
- Turn off all enhancements.
- Set resolution quality to high photo quality, 300 or 600 dpi.
- Save the file as a high quality JPEG or TIFF.
- If the file(s) is/are under 10 MB, please email to photos@iRepairPhotos .
- If the file(s) is/are 10 MB or greater, please mail to: iRepairPhotos, 120 E. FM544, Suite 72 PMB 306, Murphy, TX 75094-4035 in a CD mailer.
- Include in your email or the mailer detailed instructions of the restoration, editing, etc. to be performed on the photo.
- Please include your email address, if you have one, and a deadline date for completing the work.
